President’s Message for May

Hola, Amigos!!

I think the Cinqo de Mayo potluck was fabulous. Thank you to all who contributed the wonderful food and general good time. A special thanks to Norm, our Spanish translator, for giving us some great Spanish dating lines. Gracias senor!

For some more fun check out Norm's annual "Summer Kickoff Party" at the Admiral's Inn in Ogunquit on Saturday, May 23rd. Lot's of men, good food and the "Harold" on the bar.

The cruise tickets are on sale and we are hoping to fill that damn boat!! Your cruise committee is certainly in high-gear to try to make that happen. So get your tickets early and invite someone you know who has never been on the cruise to check it out. Remember, members get to purchase two tickets at the low member price of $20.00. Bring a friend and have a great time!

June is just around the corner and so begins the Pride celebrations. We plan on participating in Portland Pride again this year. So come and join us to celebrate our pride in being a gay men's social organization, meeting every Monday for thirty years!! We are a unique organization in that respect. I don't think there is another group in the country that can claim that distinction.

So let's celebrate who we are this summer with our fabulous summer cruise and then end the year with our 30th anniversary celebration. Of course, the pressing question is: "What will you wear??" OMG!!
